Su-Bo ‘the new Oprah’

Susan Boyle’s latest Britain’s Got Talent appearance has, inevitably, led to another flood of ridiculous hyperbole gushing plaudits – not least from Simon Cowell’s ex, popstar Sinitta, who for some reason reckons Su-Bo could be Britain’s answer to Oprah Winfrey.
“If she wins Britain's Got Talent, she will go on to host it or have her own show,” the singer told Heart FM. “She'll be like the British Oprah.”
Hmmm, La Boyle has got talent – but is it really the “hosting a successful chat show” kind of talent? Sinitta, clearly in mischievous mood, added that despite the 47-year-old’s flirtations with Piers Morgan, she’d detected a certain romantic chemistry elsewhere.
“I think there's something about her,” she said. “I don't want to say too much, but Simon and Susan?”
Not if Piers is around. “I spied her heading up the stairs near the judges’ dressing room area,” revealed the former Daily Mirror editor after the first semi-final. "‘Oh Piersy!’ she shouted, then skipped down the stairs, jumped on me and kissed me full on the lips for quite some time. ‘I’ve been kissed now,’ she laughed – then she danced another jig, and ran off again.”
Madness. Meanwhile, Susan has reportedly been keeping guests awake by caterwauling at all hours of the night at the hotel she’s staying at in West London. “She is obviously desperate to win,” grumbled one sleep-deprived guest. “She just sings all day and all night. It’s been keeping me up – it’s such a cacophony.”
It could be worse: imagine being in the room below dance troupe Diversity…
